INTRODUCTION OF LIONEL MESSI
Lionel Messi is an argentine professional footballer born in 1987, inter Miami forward player and captain. He is regarded as the best player in the world. Messi has played for three clubs namely Barcelona, Paris Saint German (PSG) and currently in Inter Miami.
Lionel Messi started his Football career in Spain after his parents moved to Spain when he was at the age of 13yrs. Lionel Messi Joined Barcelona junior academy at the age of 13yrs where he made his first competitive debut at the age of 17yrs in 2004. Messi has endorsed several brands which includes adidas a sport ware company.
He was ranked as the highest paid player in the world for a period of 5yrs that is between 2009 to 2014. He was also ranked as the highest paid athlete in the world by Forbes in 2019 and 2022.

Lionel Messi at the of 22yrs he won his first ballon d’Or. Three seasons that followed Messi proved he is the best footballer in the world by winning 3 consecutive balloon d’Or and becoming the first prayer in the world to win ballon d’Or 4 times.
In 2011 and 2012 season Lionel Messi set a record of the most goal in a season. The two seasons that followed Messi trailed behind Cristiano Ronaldo who is believed to be his career rival.
In 2015 Messi become Laliga all time top scorer which led him to being awarded his 5th Ballon d’Or. In 2018 Messi Became the captain of Barcelona after having good performance in the previous season. In 2019 he won his 6th Ballon d’Or.
In August 2021 He joined Paris Saint German (PSG club) where he completed two season in the club. In July 2023 Massi Moved to America football club Inter Miami where they won the league in august 2023.
In 2021 Lionel Messi led his team into a third place in Copa American cup and also qualified for FIFA World Cup. He also won both golden boot and golden ball. In the same year in 2021 Messi got his luck and won his 7th Ballon d’Or
After leading his country team Argentina to win world cup in 2022 Lionel Messi has received his 8 ballon d’or after outstaring Erlang Harland for 2023 Ballo d’Or.
So far Messi has a total of eight ballon d’Or becoming the first prayer in the world to hit such a number.
